Sadly this insidious evil of equivocation on abortion is taking root in Catholic Churches all over America. There is NO MORAL EQUIVALANCY to the murder of an innocent baby in the womb.. NONE. To think that stemming poverty is a way to lessen abortion is such an obtuse and intellectually bankrupt idea as to be laughable. Christ said "you will always have the poor"

Its the LEGALIZATION OF ABORTION- STUPID! Governmetn sanctioned murder of innocents. How can that be tolerated??. How can that NOT BE our number one moral issue?? The only parrallel in wartime is genocide- nothing else comes close. The church has been moving Left for years now and my only prayer is that those who think fighting abortion is analagous to providing food to the homeless are deluding themselve and mocking Churhc teachings. They should, if they had any integrity, find another Church that supported their views instead of subverting the RCC. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME

Hello

I've just uploaded two rare interviews with the Catholic activist Dorothy Day. One was made for the Christophers [1971]--i.e., Christopher Closeup-- and the other for WCVB-TV Boston [1974].

Day had begun her service to the poor in New York City during the Depression with Peter Maurin, and it continued until her death in 1980. Their dedication to administering to the homeless, elderly, and disenfranchised continues with Catholic Worker homes in many parts of the world.

Please post or announce the availability of these videos for those who may be interested in hearing this remarkable lay minister.

They may be located here:

Thank you
